Practical as well as beautiful, they have a steam and heat proof lining to protect your hands, and are finished with a thick towelling back for extra protection. The gloves can either hang over an oven handle, or they have a hanging loop in the middle.

These 'Garden Bird' oven gloves are is made using the fabric that Fiona designed using the painted motifs of Birds, eggs, bees and all things floral. All her designs start out as paintings in gouache, and turned into homewares and gifts.
Everything painted in the fabric of these oven gloves visits her garden, including the very striking Great Spotted Woodpecker, Long Tailed Tits, Jackdaws, Blue Tits and Coal Tits.
Fiona is a Scottish artist living in Cornwall and a graduate of The Royal College of Art in London.
Her work is particularly inspired by wildflowers, surrounding hedgerows with their blossom and fruit - and the array of garden birds that visit her garden studio. Starting out life as detailed gouache studies on paper, her work is brought to life through intricate repeating patterns on fabric.
